We are proud to announce that our initiative “Co-designed accessible disaster database for households with disabilities in rural areas” has been selected as a Zero Project  Awardee 2026!

The Zero Project recognizes innovative solutions that advance the rights of persons with disabilities worldwide. This year’s research focused on Accessibility, ICT, and Crisis Response, with contributions from experts across the globe.

Our initiative strengthens disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction by co-designing an accessible database that supports early warning, preparedness, and response for households with disabilities in rural communities.

This project is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Vietnam, whose support has been essential to our work.

We are honoured to see our initiative highlighted among global innovations with meaningful impact. As part of this recognition, DP Hanoi will present our innovation at the Zero Project Conference 2026, taking place February 18–20, 2026 at the United Nations Office in Vienna, with more than 1,000 participants from around 100 countries expected to attend.
